For the car lover in your family, take time out on Sunday, June 17th and head to the 14th Annual Apex Father’s Day Car Show. This show is free to spectators and will feature over 200 street rods, custom cars and antiques. If you want to get some exercise in that day there are several races in conjunction with the car show! For the Foodie Dad, why not attend the inaugural Denver BBQ festival? Hosted at Sports Authority Mile High Stadium there will be amazing BBQ demonstrations by Legends of the Pit. There will also be beer and bands. If that isn't enough, try your hand at some giant Board Games, Ping Pong, Wild trike rides or interactive games with the Broncos. Does your dad love to sample Colorado’s craft brews? This weekend is the Vail Beer Classic with four days of events and over 100 different craft beers to sample. Events start on June 14th and continue through the 17th. A $55 dollar ticket will get you into the main event where you can sample beer to your heart’s delight in the scenic Colorado Rocky Mountains. This weekend is also the time of the Greek Festival for the Culture Loving Dad. This is Denver’s largest cultural festival and this year marks its 52nd year. The festival is well know for it’s amazing homemade Greek food and pastries. Throw in some great Greek music, dance and shopping and you will love this immersion into Greek culture.
